mixed media collage: acrylic paint and acrylic medium, ephemera, rubons, faber-castel gelatos, sharpie marker.

These will be auctioned at Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria, VA January 18-February 8th, 2014, to benefit Food for Others.

finished adding applique and now the boring bit....machine stitching around all those leaves. not my favorite job.

this is an orphan block quilt i pulled out of the closet. i had a plan for applique so i added some fusible applique. i decided the branches would be easier done in hand applique.
